معرفي بازي Quest Of Persia

QoP Engine

QoP Engine Version 0.7 has been designed to support low profile graphic cards. The Engine has been optimized to work with 16MB and 32MB Graphic cards.

Fast Loading time, detail Textures, static lights, optimized scene management and a dynamic sound system are just some of the features that the QoP ENGINE offers.The engine supports all video and hardware currently on the market, and new hardware support will be constantly added as it becomes available.

Terrain Editor

A MFC based game editor offering a way to design complicated high quality levels. It supports height map, and Alpha Blending.

It will also provide an option for specifying the behaviors of the objects in the scene



Renderer

Integrates indoor and outdoor technology flawlessly while offering rendering support for OpenGL.

The renderer has been designed to work efficiently with mid-size bsp based levels. It will also support various number of objects in the scene.



Various Types of FPS Game play

QoP Engine supports various type of FPS Game plays, ranging from basic FPS behaviors to advance interactions with other objects.

Enemy and friend AI in QoP Engine Version 0.7 was in a very early stage. More advance AI algorithm has been designed in the latest Version of the Engine.



DG Terrain

Uses an advanced height-map system and polygon reduction to create massive, realistic environments. The view distance can be maximized to 100m when converted from game units.

The Driving Game also supports real-time physics for all the objects in the scene



Object-Oriented Design & Code

QoP Engine have been designed Object-Oriented using UML, and written entirely in Object-Oriented C++.

It consist of the following main classes: CEngine, CNode, CModel, CCamera, CGUI, CTerrain, CWorld, CObject, CParticle, CCharacter, CBullet, CPlaye

Arashk is a hero character which can be played. Arashk uses a wide range of weapons, to fight Iraqi army and their various arsenal of weapons.



Leyla

Age: 27
Education: BS in Archeology
Occupation: Archeologist

Leyla is a Hero character, who helps Arashk in the game, in order to overcome the enemies.The Game will be over if Leyla gets killed.



Iraqi Infantry

Age: Unknown
Education: Unknown
Occupation: Soldier

Standard Iraqi Infantry Soldier, who Arashk needs to take care of. There are quite a lot of them appearing in the game.



Iraqi Republican Guard

Age: Unknown
Education: Unknown
Occupation: Commander

Powerful Iraqi Soldier who commands Infantry soldiers. Despite providing great treat to Arashk, and Leyla, they have to find a way to take care of them

Truck

Arashk uses this Truck in the beginning of the game in order to escape from the Iraqi Helicopter, and its rockets.



Landrover

Leyla and Arashk have to drive this landrover while, Iraqi Jeeps and Helicopter will attack them from different directions.

Leyla drives the Landrover, while Arashk try to shoot the Jeeps, and Helicopter with RPG.



Iraqi Tank

Standard Iraqi Tank, which Arashk has to take care of bunch of them before they reach city.

Iraqi Tanks are all over the Game, in most levels Arashk can avoid them, since they are slow, but very powerful.



Iraqi Figther Jet

Iraqi MIG Figthers are both powerful, and fast. Hopefully in the" QoP:The End of Innocence", they will just show up in cut-scenes!



Iraqi Military Jeep

Iraqi Jeeps are fast, but not that powerful, Arashk can destroy them with RPG, in the final Driving Game.

Moarefi Aslahehaye Bazi

Axe

Will be used to open up ways for escape. It can be used as a weapon against enemies.



Pistol

Massive caliber semi-automatic handgun, with low range.



AK47

Standard assault rifle. Offers high rate of fire and reasonable accuracy over medium ranges.

Uzi

A Fully Automatic Rifle, and a great assault weapon for mid-to-long range combats in open terrain.

G3 Sniper

Equipped with a scope device, this weapon has a very low ROF but causes massive amounts of damage to organic targets. Its extreme range and accuracy balance its slow reload speeds.

RPG7

Slow and heavy weapon capable of dealing massive damage at long ranges. A good weapon for destroying tanks, and heavy

Lotfali Khan Sword (Secret Weapon)

An Ancient weapon, that Arashk uses to destroy the enemies
